Hippopotamus 3D Models

The hippopotamus (Hippopotamus amphibius) is a very large semi-aquatic mammal of sub-Saharan Africa that spends its days in rivers and lakes and comes ashore at night to graze. Despite the barrel body and short legs it is fast on land and widely considered one of the most dangerous animals on the continent. The skin is hairless and thick, mottled grey over the back and shading to pink around the muzzle, ears and eyes, and it secretes a reddish fluid that acts as its own sunscreen.
