Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information 3D Animal ("we", "us") collects when you use 3DAnimal.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you create an account or make a purchase, we collect:

  • Account information — name, email address, and (if you sign up with a password) a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from that provider.
  • Purchase information — the models you buy, license type, and price. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Content you submit — reviews, ratings, and any billing details you add for invoicing (e.g. organization name and tax ID).
  • Usage data — basic technical information like IP address and browser type, used for security and fraud prevention.

How we use your information

  • To process purchases and deliver your downloads
  • To send transactional emails — order confirmations, invoices, password resets, email verification
  • To prevent fraud and abuse (e.g. requiring a verified email before you can post reviews)
  • To improve the site and respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Payment processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by their own privacy policy. We store only the outcome of a transaction (amount, date, a payment reference) — never your card number.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cart. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Data retention

We keep your account and purchase history for as long as your account is active, and as needed to comply with tax and accounting obligations. You can request deletion of your account by contacting us.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, and data portability.
