Nile Crocodile 3D Models

The Nile crocodile (Crocodylus niloticus) is Africa's largest freshwater predator, found through rivers, lakes and marshes across most of the continent and reaching five metres or more. It spends long stretches basking flat on riverbanks to warm up, then hunts from the water, taking prey at the edge with a short, explosive rush. Its hide is olive to bronze with dark banding on the tail, armoured with rows of raised bony scutes down the back. Models of the species suit riverbank and swamp scenes in games and film, static hazards in level design, and printed display pieces.
