African Elephant 3D Models

The African bush elephant (Loxodonta africana) is the largest land animal on Earth, standing up to four metres at the shoulder and living in matriarch-led family herds across the savannas and woodlands of sub-Saharan Africa. It is told apart from its Asian cousin by its enormous fan-shaped ears, the dipped curve of its back, and the fact that both bulls and cows carry tusks. Its hide is deeply cross-hatched with wrinkles that hold water and dust to keep the animal cool. Models of the species suit large-format printing, savanna and safari scenes in games and film, and reference work for documentary and museum visualisation.
